Celebrity Birth Charts

What does Taylor Swift's chart look like? Where's Elon Musk's Moon? Each chart below is computed from the figure's real, publicly documented birth data, Sun, Moon, rising and key placements, with plain-language meanings.

A birth chart is the sky frozen at the moment someone was born, and for a famous figure, it's the one fixed thing behind a public life everyone else got to interpret. That's the appeal: you already know the person, so you can read the chart against a life you've watched unfold instead of guessing. A Scorpio rising you can't see in yourself is easier to recognise in someone whose guardedness played out in public for years.

The charts here aren't taken on faith. Every placement is recomputed from the birth data with the same Swiss Ephemeris engine Luune runs for live charts (the same maths an astronomer uses to locate a planet on a given date) so a celebrity's Venus is found the same way yours would be.

How accurate is this data?

Two things have to be right for a chart to mean anything: the birth data going in, and the calculation done on it.

For the data, we lean on the Astro-Databank Rodden rating — astrology's standard for how trustworthy a birth time is. AA means it comes from a birth certificate or official record; A means it's from the person or their family; C and DD mean the time is uncertain or in dispute. Each page shows its rating, so you can weigh it yourself.

When a reliable birth time isn't on record, we don't invent one. The Moon moves only about 12° a day, so its sign holds for nearly any time of day, but the rising sign and houses change every couple of hours, so we show Sun and Moon only and leave the rising blank rather than guess. For the calculation itself, every placement runs through the Swiss Ephemeris, the precision planetary engine behind most serious astrology software.

Musicians

Watch where Venus and the Moon land, the planets of taste and feeling tend to do the heavy lifting in a performer's chart.

Actors

The rising sign matters most here: it's the mask the world meets first, and acting is the craft of wearing one on purpose.

Founders & Tech

Look to the Sun and Mars (identity and drive) for the engine behind a chart built to start things and push them through.

Leaders & Icons

These are charts the public projected onto for decades; the Sun's sign tells you what they were lit up to be seen as.

Frequently asked questions

What does a celebrity birth chart show?

A birth chart maps where the Sun, Moon, planets, and the rising sign sat in the sky at the exact moment someone was born. For a famous figure it lays out the same placements you'd get for your own chart, their core identity, emotional nature, and the face they show the world.

How is a birth chart calculated?

Every chart is built from three inputs: the date, the time, and the place of birth. The date and time fix when the sky is being read, and the place gives the coordinates and timezone, so the planets can be located precisely overhead at that spot.

Why does a known birth time matter?

The rising sign and the house positions change roughly every two hours, so without a reliable birth time those parts of the chart can't be pinned down. The Sun and Moon are far more forgiving, which is why a chart with an unknown time still shows those two but leaves the rising blank.

What can you learn from a celebrity's chart?

Because you already know the person, you can read the chart against a life you've watched unfold, recognising a guarded Scorpio rising or a restless Sagittarius Sun in how they actually showed up. It's a way to see how placements look when they play out in public.

Can I compare my chart to a celebrity's?

Yes. Your chart is calculated the same way from your own birth date, time, and place, so the two are directly comparable. Looking at a familiar figure's placements is one of the easiest ways to start recognising the same patterns in your own.
