Do I need my exact birth time?
Only for your Rising sign, which changes about every two hours. Without a time you still get your Sun, Moon, Life Path, Tarot Birth Card, and dominant element — five of the six layers — and your Rising stays open until you add a time.
How is the Life Path number calculated?
We sum every digit of your full birth date (year, month, and day) and reduce it to a single root from 1 to 9, keeping the master numbers 11, 22, and 33. It matches the result of our standalone Life Path number calculator.
How is the Tarot Birth Card chosen?
We add up all the digits of your birthdate and reduce the total until it is 22 or less, then map that number to a card in the tarot's 22 Major Arcana — from The Fool (0) to The World (XXI). The result is the archetype your birth date points toward.
