What are the lunar nodes?

The lunar nodes aren’t planets — they’re the two points where the Moon’s orbit crosses the path of the Sun. Astrologers read them as a single axis: the South Node is your default setting, the talents and habits you came in with and can fall back on without thinking. The North Node, always in the exact opposite sign, is the unfamiliar direction your growth lies in — uncomfortable on purpose.

You don’t abandon the South Node; you carry its gifts forward while deliberately leaning into the North Node. That tension — between what’s easy and what’s evolving — is the whole point.
